Recommendations for energy-efficient buildings within a wide range of options

The recommendations list gives a general description of what can be done to achieve Low-Energy-Buildings, Ultra-Low-Energy Buildings and nearly Zero and Plus Energy Buildings and their potential savings. The package and the corresponding list are specific for each building type, whether residential or service, new or retrofit, closed, hybrid or zoned, small, medium or large and the climate zone it is situated in. For ease of comparison more than one combination can be chosen at the same time. To show good examples of combinations there is in each case a good practice example, which shows how a building can reach these low energy levels through a combination of strategies, techniques, technologies and user behaviour.
