South Africa policy update

South Africa has an ongoing National Building Regulation since 2011 which widely covers various sectors and building types. The South African National Standard (SANS) 10400XA is a governmental instrument for mitigating energy consumption in retrofitted and new buildings. Different measures (passive and active) and various approaches are applicable by engaging trained and competent professionals in choosing the best options to implement.
